Tributes have been pouring in from around the world for music legend Dolly Parton who has passed away at the age of 80.

“Rest in peace, dear Dolly. Your love for us was so unexpected, and your kindness and love for the world was extraordinary,” brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone wrote.
“We will all miss you greatly.”
Dolly joined the duo for a new version of “God Only Knows” in 2019, a collaboration that earned the artists a Grammy Award for best contemporary Christian music performance/song.
Zach Williams
Christian singer Zach Williams, who recorded the Grammy-winning duet “There Was Jesus” with Dolly, said her songs, faith and character had a profound influence on him.
“Dolly, your songs, your faith, and the way you loved people impacted me more than you probably ever will know,” Williams wrote.
“You showed all of us that success didn’t have to change your heart, and that we could use what God gave us to make life a little better for somebody else.”

Steven Curtis Chapman
Grammy-winning Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman shared a black-and-white photograph of himself with Dolly Parton from earlier in their careers and remembered her as someone who used her God-given gifts to bring joy to others.
“Dolly gave the world so many beautiful moments using the incredible gifts and the kind heart God gave her,” Chapman wrote.

Carrie Underwood
Country superstar and outspoken Christian Carrie Underwood offered a faith-filled tribute to Dolly, declaring that she knows where the country music legend is following her death.
“She’s not gone. I know exactly where she is,” Underwood wrote.

Christian country singer Anne Wilson offered an extensive tribute to Dolly Parton, crediting her with opening doors for generations of female artists.
